Cutthroat strategies for power
The Bolshevik party, lead by Lenin, took over the Czar.
Stalin's incredible devotion and strength did not go unnoticed. Lenin, the leader of the Bolshevik party reached out to Stalin. Stalin asked to be secretary of the party. Seemingly, this was not the most powerful job that Stalin deserved, but it was just the job Stalin was looking for. This job allowed Stalin to be the inside coordinator. He organized appointments for people to get their positions in the Bolshevik party. He also had the power to influence the times and dates of the gatherings and demonstrations. Stalin could now successfully bend bolshevik party to his own agenda. He arranged meetings and candidates for the Bolshevik leaders according to whom he wanted to be in each position. If he wanted a certain person who followed his agenda in a certain leadership position, he would arrange meetings so that they would be a shoe-win. Before long, every person of importance in the Bolshevik party besides Lenin, owed their job to Stalin. Lenin was becoming increasingly ill. When he died, just when Stalin pradicted him to, Stalin easily slid into power.
